EMBO Workshop: Chromosome segregation and aneuploidy
You must have registered to attend the meeting and you would have received the instructions on how to submit in your email confirmation.
All submissions can only be made by fully registered and paid attendees. 

  • You must register and have paid in full to attend the conference in order to have access to the abstract system.
  • Each registrant can only present one abstract at the conference and only submit one abstract per event registration.
  • You can be listed as an author on more than one abstract. However as authors can only make one presentation (either poster or podium) at the conference, each abstract must have a unique presenting author defined during the abstract submission process.
  • The maximum length of an abstract is 400 words. Do not include author names in the title or body of your abstract – these are entered separately online during the submission process.
  • You can submit your abstract for oral or poster presentation based on your selected topic:

6. Cytokinesis and Abcission
7. Checkpoint Function and Dysfunction

9. Structural Aneuploidy and Interphase Mechanisms
10. Kinetochores and Chromosome Movement
11. Meiotic Aneuploidy
12. Centrosomes and Aneuploidy
13. Aneuploidy and Cancer
14. Systems Approaches to Aneuploidy


  • Oral Presentation Submissions will be considered if submitted by 25th March 2016 and you can edit your oral abstract  online until  this  date. No submissions and/or edits to oral presentations will be accepted after this date.   Any submission received after this date will automatically be considered a poster submission.(irrespective of your own selected presentation format)
  • Poster Presentation submissions will be accepted until 14th April 2016
  • Abstracts will be reviewed and any abstract that was submitted for oral presentation, but was unsuccessful in that regard, will be considered for poster presentation.
  • Authors will be notified of their abstract status by 22nd April 2016
